"I've visited a few times and I always love the food at this tidy, welcoming space. My hands down favorite is the Ropa Vieja (shredded beef cooked with peppers and spices)- which is the best I've had outside Miami- maybe anywhere. They also have great fish tacos and this pork sandwich (forget what its called) that is incredible. Husband loves their cuban sandwich and hamburgers. I love that there is a place in new hope with a lot of options, good prices, nicer atmosphere and different than the same old bar food. Service is always good and people are very friendly. Its nice place and stands out."

"Hey all - was able to visit lovely New Hope to do a bit of shopping for the holidays and decided to go back again and see if this place would still be a favorite of mine. Yes, Yes, Yes - they did it again. The place was packed on a Sunday afternoon but we were able to get a nice spot by a window. The place was decorated for the holidays inside making it even more inviting than I remembered. The hubby had the lechon asado which was filled with garlicy flavors and was just so hearty. I opted for the maduros rellenos and OMG it was excellent. Service was super - all beautiful people working and smiles ear to ear. You could tell, there was a pleasant vibe in working here. After we ate we ventured up to the 3rd floor bar which is cozy and romantic and had another libation. It was so fantastic. If you happen to go to New Hope, do yourself a favor and stop at this place. Its different and I give it 5 stars all around. Happy Holidays"

"Simply fantastic! I got here with my wife, in-laws and my 2 y-old daughter, at 5. We spent 2 hours, ate like kings, drank a few beers and the check was very fair.

The paella was great.

Thanks to Matt, we were incredibly well served.

Get here early and get the upstair room.
I will definitely return here."

"Decided to go to dinner tonight in New hope and stumbled along this resturant which had just opened recently and decided to go in. It was an outstanding choice . Inside was beautifully decorated and the food was excellent with very reasonable prices. Will definitely go back."

"Excellent. We tried a bunch of appetizers. Wings were incredible, Madura rellenos were so good and unexpected, YUKA FRIES w cilantro mayo- omg. Boyfriend loved chicharones, I just thought the whole atmosphere was very nice. Sandwiches were very good, large portions. We tried the Cuban and the pan de lechon also- great drinks! Love it. Will definitely be back when we are in new hope!"

"I'm so excited that this place is good. I really hope it sticks and that people come eat here, because the high turnover rate of new restaurants in this building is disheartening. Mojito is probably the highest quality this location has seen in a long while.

I stumbled upon this place a couple weeks ago, on its first day open. I glanced at the menu and couldn't pass up the opportunity to try some real Cuban food (Mojito is located directly across the street from Havana, which purports to be Cuban but is more an exorbitantly overpriced tourist trap than anything else). For starters, the prices are extremely reasonable for entrees. The appetizers and salads can get a little on the pricey side ($14 for a salad without any meat is crazy to me), but the sandwiches and dinner entrees are very inexpensive and VERY LARGE. You can't really beat $10 for a burger or roast pork sandwich, both served with either french fries or fried yuca. But the entrees are where the real deals are. I had the ropa vieja (brisket stewed in tomatoes, peppers, onions & garlic), which was served atop rice with a side of fried yuca (you could also choose tostones or maduros, both plantains with the former being starchy and the latter sweet) AND a cup of soup or mixed salad. My dish came to a total of only $17. Factoring in that the soup (I tried the tortilla, which was very good but a little cold) is $5 on its own, that's a great deal for massive portion of food. I didn't even finish half of it. The brisket was tender and sweet, the rice perfectly seasoned, and the fried yuca crispy and not at all greasy. I have to confess that the reason I got the ropa vieja in the first place is because it's the only dish that both Mojito and Havana serve; I've had it at Havana previously and was unimpressed, but I wanted to try Mojito's to do a comparison... and there is none. Mojito's is inarguably better.

My partner had the polo de la plancha (chicken marinated in Mojo, with onions and cilantro), which came with rice and black beans and the same choice of one of three sides. The portion was two entire chicken breasts, with the beans served in an individual soup bowl (yes, you read that correctly: a side the size of an appetizer). He also took home at least half of his food. We also tried the tostones as an appetizer, and they were very light and satisfying. However, we hadn't read the full menu at that point, so we didn't realize we could have gotten them included with our entrees, which would have saved us $6 and a little room in our stomachs. Even still, the grand total for an appetizer and two entrees on Main Street in New Hope came to less than $40. If you're familiar with the area, you know what a steal that is. And considering the food was actually delicious, Mojito Cuba Caribe is a big winner.

Additionally, the staff was all very nice and welcoming. The assistant manager was going around to all the tables and introducing himself, thanking people for coming in, and asking for opinions. I have no doubt that with a little more time the small rough patches (cold soup, a few uncooked grains of rice) will be worked out, and this place will be unmissable."

Absolutely fantastic!  I had the Enchiladas and a Mojito, and both were top shelf.  Great seasoning, fast service, and the Mojitos were out of this world.  They also have some great beers on tap, and our waitress was very nice.  The owner stopped by and said hello, and was friendly and outgoing.  I will be going back to Mojito again and again!

Went there tonight for the first time. My husband and I had excellent mojitos followed by amazing meals. I had a true Cuban dish called Ropa Vieja. It was cooked to perfection and seasoned perfectly with amazing tostones on the side. It came with a cup of black bean soup...to die for. My husband had chicken enchiladas that were delicious. Nice sized portions for a great price.. Amazing service and great ambiance! We live local and will be back soon!

Had dinner here last night - best Cubana sandwich ever; couldn't eat the entire thing - so it's my lunch today - can't wait. Great service; ate outside. Good prices.

We went to New Hope for our anniversary weekend and decided to try it. It is delicious cuban food with authentic taste and very good portions. Mojito is definitely the spot if you are looking for actual cuban food. We tried Havana up the block because someone had recommended it and we were disappointed. Havana was all atmosphere and drinks.  The food at Havana was not authentic and barely had cuban dishes. Mojito was so good we went twice that weekend. My husband had the Ropa Vieja which was delicious. I had the Lechon Asado which is roast pork and was so very yummy. The garlic mayo for the tostones was yummy too. The second time we went we had the Chicharones with the mango sauce with tostones. We were not disappointed here.

New place in New Hope, and it's pretty great!

They've got a small patio for drinks, and given the air hasn't gotten to the point I need some knickers, we ordered drinks and apps out there.

Service was fast, and the girl at the bar was super friendly.  Everything was clean, well-lit, and welcoming.

I'd definitely go back, especially for the pineapple mojito!  Never had one of those before.  Oh - My - NOM!!!
